What is your sourcing and roasting philosophy?
We work with responsible importers and exporters to source the best green beans from around the world. In sourcing, we recognize that coffee is an agricultural product and therefore we only purchase green coffee from recently-harvested crops at sustainably-run farms. We also attempt to select green coffee both on the intrinsic taste profile of the green beans and the quality of the location, which for us means attempting to purchase green coffee with inherently high sweetness and low acidity.
Our roasting philosophy is simple: to highlight the natural flavor and sweetness present in each of our green coffee selections. To accomplish this goal, we stay on top of current industry trends and implement robust processes and controls to ensure quality and consistency.
In practice, we use a profile-based roasting methodology, meaning we utilize different parameters depending on each green bean’s unique characteristics. These characteristics can include process method, moisture percentage, and size. The end product usually results in what most customers consider a medium roast (City+ to Full City+). We believe this color allows for full development, which eliminates unpleasant acidity, while keeping the beans from becoming over-roasted, which can replace the unique flavor of each bean with a more generic taste profile.

How often do you roast?
As often as necessary to help ensure our customers can drink freshly roasted coffee. Generally, we aim to roast twice a week - on Mondays and Thursdays.
How does shipping work?
Everything ships free! We ship to any address in the Continental United States. After your order is placed, we will ship everything as soon as possible (usually within 2 business days) via either UPS or USPS.
What is your return policy?
Due to the perishable nature of most of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond back to you within one business day to ensure everything is made right for you!

How do I change or amend my subscription?
Subscriptions are filled and mailed out based on the choices made by you. You can cancel or change your subscription plan at any time through the customer portal. Should there ever be a issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at email@example.com.
Additionally, due to the seasonal nature of coffee, we cannot always guarantee the exact coffee you choose will be available all year round. If you are subscribed to a selection that becomes unavailable, we will automatically replace it with a new choice we believe is most similar to your original choice. If you are unsatisfied with the replacement choice, please let us know!
